A wonderful collection. I can't wait to hear more from Lori Joseph, Nebraska plains-woman. You don't have to be from Nebraska to find a connection to these pieces. This book makes a great gift.

My friend Terry Wild turned seventy-five on January 18, 2022. A simple exchange to wish him a Happy Birthday led to this creative endeavor.
The concept of Seventy-Five is a testimonial to real life, not the embellished life people gravitate to on social media. Our society has experienced a deep decline in empathy (46% over the last three decades). We hope Terry's images with my words will provoke and stimulate you to look at the ordinary and to feel something. If Seventy-Five causes you to pause, reflect or laugh, then we will have succeeded. If you are inspired to look more closely at your daily life, and your impact on our natural world, and mindfully do something kind for another person, it's a huge win.

Loved seeing the photographs and then coming up with my own thoughts of each image. It was intriguing to see what the author’s thoughts were of them, and how she made me see the image from a different view.

Sea Glass is a poetic journey of loss and resilience, carried by hidden currents of connection that bind us and gently draw us toward the chapters yet to be lived.
The personification of sea glass weaves a poignant tale in which Sophie and Willa discover their friendship transcends coincidence, revealing a destined bond.
Independent for the first time in 25 years, Sophie's determined not to be defined by adversity. Reflecting on her failed marriage, she realizes her shortcomings and takes measures to improve and heal from within.
Meanwhile, nine-year old Willa discovers a piece of sea glass while on a trip to the Goodwill store. She knew from the moment she held it in her hands...she'd purchased hope but had no idea it would become her lucky charm. Her touchstone.
